You think i was excited when my box finally arrived:
You should have seen me when my first two weeks of pictures came! Project Life is a scrapbook kit for documenting the everyday created by Becky Higgins. This is the third year for the kit and the first year for me. The idea is to take a picture a day for 365 days. But it's really turned into so much more for so many people. An entire communityhas been born. So many scrapbookers spend so much time creating pages celebrating the big stuff, this is more of a focus on the everyday which is really what life is all about, right?
My approach is not to worry about having a picture for everyday, but more focused on each week. I've added a few inserts to add more pictures for bigger moments that take more than one photo. The little 'friday' on the picture above, that came from a blog I can't seem to find right now. Found it through the link of another blog I found through the Project Life message board. (never can find important stuff when your looking for it...)
So here is the outside of the album:
The opening page:
Here's Week 1:
Week 1 Left Side:
Close up of insert Side 1: pics of Haley playing in the snow. I'm not leaving the pink slots blank, I just haven't decided what to put there yet.
And the other side : turns out Luke REALLY likes the snow. This is the snow that Luke ran off for 4 hours, scared the crap out of me, he's on restriction now....chain only, poor guy. Again, I'm not leaving the pink squares blank, just haven't figured out what to put there yet....
Week 1 : Right Side
I love, love, love that picture of Wrinkles up above. She was jumping up and down barking, more like yelling at me to let her in the house already. Her bit ole belly doesn't like the cold cold snow. :)
Week 2 - This pics of Haley on the bus, this is another insert.
Week 2 : Left Side
We met my Mom at Union High School, she drove Eureka's girls basketball team there for a game. Haley really had fun on the bus, she took about 75 pictures. Thank goodness for digital and the ease of deleting!
Week 2 : Right Side
I don't know if you can tell, but the snow just got worse for Wrinkles. In the smaller shot in the middle, that's the trail her belly made! And the eagle flying in the corner - I didn't have to go to Illinois for that one - it was in my FRONT YARD!!! Jason pointed it out and it was so high it looked like a black bird for me. We were leaving and I made him stop so I could get a pic. I zoomed in and sure enough, a Bald Eagle right out my own front door. Of course when I tried to step back in the car he took off...he thinks he so funny.....
